ZINC 9%

9.0% EDTA CHELATION

GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: 0-0-0

  • Zinc (Zn): 9.00%
  • Zinc as Zn0: 11.2%
  • Aids in absorption of moisture
  • Helps transform carbohydrates.
  • Regulates plant sugar use.
  • Has a role in enzyme system functioning.
  • Has a role with growth regulators normally present in the plant.
  • Has a role in protein synthesis.
  • 6ppm minimum; 10ppm good; 20ppm too high.
  • Lime application affects Zn.
  • Deficiency symptom: Whitish stripe in leaf (Mg will look similar, but the bottom of the leaf will be purplish).
  • Too much N ties up Zn.
  • High P, Ca, K can hurt Zn.
  • As pH climbs from 6, Zn levels are impacted.
  • Zinc Sulfate takes 2 years to see after being soil applied.

Net Weight: 10.8 lbs/gallon
Derived from Zinc Oxide. Chelating Agent: EDTA

MANGANESE 6%

6.0% EDTA CHELATION

GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: 0-0-0

  • Manganese (Mn): 6.00%
  • Accelerates germination.
  • Hastens fruiting and ripening.
  • Important in assimilation of nitrates.
  • Essential for assimilation of C02 in photosynthesis.
  • Provides stalk strength in combination with K and Cu
  • Activates fat-forming enzymes.
  • Directly involved in Fe uptake, carotene, and abscorbic acid.
  • Directly related to uptake of gluthathione. Gluthathione is produced more by plants under stress, which attracts insects.
  • First baseline to hit is 40ppm. Past 250ppm is excessive.
  • Mn deficiency: top leaves yellow or white with dark green veins (Mg deficiency does this, too, but on the bottom leaves). On soybeans, yellowing occurs below 40ppm.
  • Good response on wheat.
  • Corn: watch levels < 30ppm. Stunts growth and shortens internodes on stalk.
  • Raising pH from 5.5 to 6.5 decreases Mn availability 100x. Critically low availability at pH > 6.5.
  • Reduced availability factors: high pH, overuse of K or Mg, high K or Na levels. Low S levels. Very high OM > 6%. Very low OM < 2.5%.
  • K + Na = 10% means Mn is locked out—watch this in light soils. Affects cotton, wheat, soybeans, peas, oats, tomatoes, citrus, grapes.

Net Weight: 11.0 lbs/gallon
Derived from Manganese Oxide and Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid. Chelating Agent: EDTA

COPPER 7.5%

7.5% EDTA CHELATION

GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: 0-0-0

  • Copper (Cu): 7.50%
  • Copper as CuO: 9.40%
  • Affected by heavy N applications or high P.
  • pH > 7 hurts Cu.
  • Excessive Zn hurts Cu.
  • Cu can be limiting factor in wheat, corn, cotton, grasses, fruit trees, and some veggies.
  • Essential to chlorophyll formation.
  • Important in reproductive stage.
  • Helps increase sugar content of fruits and veggies; contributes to color, flavor, storage/shipping.
  • Increases stalk strength, in combination with K and Mn, enabling higher N use.
  • Helps plants uptake ammonium N forms (esp. wheat and corn).
  • Involved in building and converting amino acids to proteins.
  • < 2ppm is deficient; 5ppm excellent; > 10ppm+ is excessive.
  • Cu can tie up P and vice versa.
  • Excessive Cu affects P, Zn, Fe uptake.
  • Too much N stops Cu uptake.
  • 5lb. of copper sulfate raises level by 0.3ppm.

Net Weight: 9.0 lbs/gallon
Derived from Copper Oxide. Chelating Agent: EDTA

LIQUID BORON 10%

GUARANTEED ANALYSIS: 0-0-0

  • Boron (B): 10.00%
  • Important for ear fill in corn.
  • Excess Ca raises need for B.
  • Increases N availability to plant.
  • Important for cell division, pollination, fruit set, seed development.
  • Carries starch from the leaf to the grain/fruit.
  • Helps nodulation of legumes.
  • Helps bloom retention.
  • Several applications are ideal, if possible.
  • Factors that contribute to B deficiency: excessive K or CA, high pH, low organic matter, low moisture, highly leached soils.

Net Weight: 11.0 lbs/gallon
Derived from Boric Acid
Approximate amount of B per gallon: 1.1 pounds

CAUTION: WARNING
BORON (B) CAN BE TOXIC TO CERTAIN PLANTS. APPLY BORON ONLY WHEN SOIL OR TISSUE TEST REQUIRE AND ONLY AT RATES RECOMMENDED.
